IMPORTANT INFO!!!

Firstly WinRAR...From the download counters it seems a lot of you have been downloading only 'part.1' of a 2 part RAR and you need both for the full album. If you look down the page to the 'Make My Day Mixtape' , 19 people have downloaded part.1 and only 11 have downloaded part.2 which is only 12mb and has the BEST version of Icecream you will EVER HEAR. Once you have downloaded BOTH PARTS simply click on part.1 and WinRAR will open both parts automatically.

Secondly the archives on the right (under the 'Previous Posts' section) has a LOT more music on it as it's all the pages/posts I've done since the blog started...+ if you haven't already, check the links to other blogs out, + they'll be getting an update v.soon

Periodically I'm going to remind you THE ARTISTS IN THE UK AND THE VAST MAJORITY OF OTHER ARTISTS/GROUPS POSTED ON THIS BLOG ARE NOT $MILLION$ ARTISTS...IF YOU FIND SOMETHING YOU LIKE ON THIS BLOG SHOW SUPPORT BY BUYING A RECORD OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT WILL GIVE THEM THEIR DUES. A GOOD PLACE TO START IS AMAZON UK WHO HAVE A LOT OF THE ALBUMS POSTED HERE AND UNLESS YOU LIVE IN SOME TRULY OBSCURE COUNTRY YOU'VE NO EXCUSE!

Lastly watch this video of Faith SFX at a pretty young age from the look of it...incredible for the first couple of minutes but it's the last minute that will truly amaze, so WATCH IT...also if you've read this far :oP ALL download links I've posted are listed in the comments...

Music coming later today.

Skitz, Tommy Evans, Karl Hinds and Blak Twang

Well seeing as it's been a while since I did a proper post, I thought I'd drop these...and I'm pretty damned pleased with them. A decent amount of you downloaded Skitz's Countryman, a classic in mine and alot of other peoples opinions. Homegrown vol.2 is very different though so don't be expecting more of the same...I don't know what genre this would fall under but it's sort of uk club hip-hop, not grime though, it makes you want to move :oP My second offering is Tommy Evans and this is one of the albums that started my interest in the UK scene. The cover looks jokey but don't be expecting any Eminem style lyrics as this bloke has clever word plays too but isn't that sort of novelty sound you get with virtually all Eminem. Tracks 1, 7 and 8 are my favourites as I think the more relaxed style suits him better...Karl Hinds I've only found out about recently but he has one hell of a lot to say and some really good, catchy tunes to back him. Better than average skits too...Blak Twang is one of the biggest names in the UK and I'm surprised I haven't posted something from him earlier. He's probably best known for Kik Off (2002) but this is my personal favourite and alot harder to find as this is un-released (c.1996)

sorry about this...still very busy so thought I'd just post the links w/o description or covers, Dirty Harry is especially worth downloading though. There's a handful of tracks I could play on repeat for the rest of my life they're that good, the rest is obviously classic...how many mixtapes do you know that have been re-released 10 years after their original output.
